Making Comics: Drawing workshop
By Austin Public Library
Multiple dates
Overview
We get together and draw comics. We do some drawing exercises; we figure out what to work on and then we work on it.
Do want to make comics but don't know where to start?
Join us for the Making Comics workshop! We will be practicing our drawing, composition and panel layout skills. Maybe we will do some drawing exercises, maybe collectively decide on a story to draw, discuss techniques we use to tell stories and gain some valuable insight into how to tell stories. You will leave with comics you drew. Local Comics Artist/self-publisher, Adam Kobetich will discuss the techniques he has learned and is still learning from his experience as a Comics artist.
All ages welcome. It is not necessary to get "tickets" for this event, just show up!
