• Safety on how to handle lye (caustic soda)

• Equipment and supplies to make soap safely at home

• How to calculate the proportions of soap ingredients

• Make ~150 grams of fragrant and colorful soap and take it home

• Balance • Immersion blender• Plastic container to mix oil and lye (DO NOT USE ALUMINUM)• Heat resistant glass jar to dissolve lye • Olive oil • Lye: Sodium Hydroxide (99% pure)• Essential oil for fragrance. • Food colorant • Nitrile Gloves and safety goggles.
