Makeup Workshop: Zombies, bruises, and gore - oh my!

This hands-on workshop will show you the basics of zombie and horror special effects makeup. We’ll play with liquid latex, stage blood, creme makeup, and more to create some horrific looks you can use for Halloween!

This is a hands-on workshop - you’ll want to bring makeup wipes and a hand towel, and it is advised to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little goopy. Liquid latex, creme makeup organic materials for texture, stage blood, makeup sponges, and brushes will be provided.

• Will utlizes images of blood, gore, and bruises for inspiration. All images are taken from film or TV.

This class will take place in the Rehearsal Hall 150 in Frank Thompson hall

• Limited to 12 participants
• Open to NC State students and the public
