Ho’oponopono: Conflict-to-Connection Art + Meditation
Starting at the top of each hour during MakerSpace (2, 3, and 4 pm), we'll begin a gentle art + meditation experience inspired by Ho’oponopono, a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation that restores harmony through responsibility, compassion, and forgiveness. ✨
You’ll create small, two-sided cards—one side expressing a current conflict with a person or situation, the other reimagining the best possible outcome for both you and the other involved (shared peace, dignity, resolved understanding). Your art cards become the anchor for a guided Ho’oponopono meditation, offering space for inner renewal, shift perspective, and peaceful connection. This practice will calm your nervous system and change your perspective on any conflicts. Take the cards with you for your personal practice.
Join us for this free event. Pop in as you can for any or all the meditations.
🌺 Friday, February 20 from 2-5 pm
🌺 Wednesday, March 25 from 2-5 pm
Free. Everyone welcome. No need to register.

✨Every Week
We invite you to join us for a time of community and creativity in a space where you can participate in a wide array of art, craft and writing activities. The Shakti Makerspace is designed to be an evolving creative environment for community members.
In the Makerspace you will find equipment and supplies for a variety of expressive activities and craft projects. We will have examples and kits for seasonal projects to make from start to finish or you can use the available supplies to create something from your own imagination and interests.
There will be supplies available for you to collage, color, paint, knit, crochet, sew, art journal and more. You can also bring any of your own projects to finish up in a space of shared creative energy and support.
We hope in this way to offer something for everyone. Use the Makerspace Open Hours as a time and space to mindfully focus in a peaceful, cooperative setting. You can make something or write something or just enjoy being in the creative energy and see what emerges for you.
There is no fee to participate in Makerspace Open Hours. Join us for a few minutes. Join us for the whole time. Join us for whatever fits into your schedule. We offer this to the community as a space where we can use our hands to continue to open our hearts.
Come as you are, when you can. We look forward to creating with you.
