Makerspace: Heat Press Workshop

By Garland Public Libraries

Overview

Learn about sublimation and how to use a variety of heat presses available in the makerspace! Registration Opens 11/29/25. (no walk-ins)

Learn about the sublimation process, and how to use the heat presses to transfer an image to different surfaces. This training class will set patrons up to use the heat presses during any Open Lab at the library! Open to adults and teens ages 13 and up. Registration is required.

Patrons MUST have a Garland Public Library card in good standing to attend this program. If you do not currently have a library card, you can sign up for one at no cost before the program. A library card is required to receive training certification, which is linked to your card and necessary for future access to the makerspace equipment.

Our library programs are free and in high demand. If you register and can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate others. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to register for future events. Thank you for your cooperation.

Registration is required to attend this program. Patrons are given a grace period to show up late before the instruction period ends, therefore we do not accept walk-ins on the day of the program. Please check back at the registration link to see if any spots open up during the registration period. Registration will close at the start of the program.
