Makers Alley, in participation with RAC’s ARTOber, presents the Makers Open Studio Tour experience, offered to the public as a way to learn from masterful artisans and get an in depth look into their studio practice. Throughout the month of October, “mini master classes” from different artsist will be offered each weekend, check out the rest of our events for more opportunities! Works are for sale and commissions are available.

Alice Sims-Gunzenhauser is an artist utilizing multiple print making techniques, combining prints with drawn works to create intricate and layered pieces. Learn more about Alice through their artist statement:

“I work with printmaking and drawing processes. Content often includes flowers or other organic form. Often, my work focuses on reconciling elements that don’t initially seem to “go together”: images torn into pieces; old work combined with new; bold passages against more subtle areas, text and image.”
