Makers Alley, in participation with RAC’s ARTOber, presents the Makers Open Studio Tour experience, offered to the public as a way to learn from masterful artisans and get an in depth look into their studio practice. Alice Sims-Gunzenhauser is an artist utilizing multiple print making techniques, combining prints with drawn works to create intricate and layered pieces. Learn more about Alice through their artist statement:
“I work with printmaking and drawing processes. Content often includes flowers or other organic form. Often, my work focuses on reconciling elements that don’t initially seem to “go together”: images torn into pieces; old work combined with new; bold passages against more subtle areas, text and image.”
