Maker's Community Workshops at DEFCon

Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of making things with your own hands? Then mark your calendar for Friday August 8, 2025 through Sunday August 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our workshops and activities are all about creativity, learning, and fun! Whether you're a seasoned maker or just starting out, there's something for everyone. Come meet like-minded folks, share ideas, and get inspired!

Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and connect with the maker community. See you there!

Note- All workshops are in Pacific Time and Require DEFCon Admission in addition to the workshop cost.

Do I have to have attend DEFCon 33 to participate in a Maker's Community workshop?

Yes.

Can I make a donation?

All the yes.

Refunds?

Up until 10 days before the event so we can have an accurate head count to prepare.

Is there a minimum skill level?

Some entry level skills always help, but there are volunteers on hand to help in all the workshops.

Can my friend, partner, significant other sit in and help me?

Please purchase a ticket for each person you expect to have a seat at the workshop.

Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?

Sure. Either on the App or just drag them by in person in a reasonable time before the event.

What if I can't make my workshop?

We will keep your supplies until Sunday @ noon but then will donate them to a worthy (or available) human.

What if I want to start my workshop but then take the materials home?

You've got to go where the DEFCon takes you.

What if my creation takes longer to make than the Con is open

We will do our best to accommodate and there is always tomorrow to pick things up. Otherwise we can help you get to a safe saving spot.
