Make Your Own Terra Cotta Planter
Get your hands dirty—and your garden growing!
Join us for a laid-back, hands-on workshop where you'll design and build your own terra cotta planter from scratch. Whether you’ve got a green thumb or just love a good creative project, this class is the perfect way to bring a little clay (and a lot of charm) into your space.
You'll learn simple handbuilding techniques using rich, red terra cotta clay—ideal for indoor and outdoor planters. Choose your size, shape, and surface design—we’ll walk you through the rest.

Cost: $50 per person — includes all materials, tools, and firing
What to Expect
🌱 What You’ll Make: One custom terra cotta planter—wheel-free and fully handbuilt, perfect for herbs, succulents, or your favorite leafy friend.
🧱 What You’ll Learn: Slab-building, scoring and slipping, joining techniques, and how to add drainage for a functional planter.
🎨 Decorating Options: Smooth it, stamp it, carve it—we’ll have tools and texture ideas on hand to personalize your piece before it hits the kiln.
📦 Pick-Up Info: Your finished planter will be fired and ready for pick-up in about 2–4 weeks. We’ll give you a card with pick-up times before you leave.
