Forging confidence takes practice and courage to take the small steps forward. This workshop teaches you how taking the first step toward your small goals can build the confidence to keep going and eventually leads your big dreams…one step at a time.
This workshop is set up for families and small groups of beginners to build confidence as they forge their very own marshmallow skewer for making s’mores by the campfire.
We’ll cover a few very basic blacksmithing techniques that we’ll use to form unique twists, scrolls and decorative curls for your own unique piece of functional art. The skewers are forged from stainless steel which means they won’t rust! This workshop builds creative problem solving, resilience, and intention toward a goal. You’ll never forget the experience! AND you’ll never have to search in the dark for a marshmallow stick again!
Ages 9 and up. All minors must participate with an adult.
