Join the MakerHub for our 3D Modeling and 3D Printing event!
We will be teaching students how to 3D model, how 3d printers work, and all the steps needed to get their own 3D printed designs manufactured. We want to empower students to develop their own prototypes and 3d printing is a quick and accessible way to produce physical objects in many different materials. Maybe you want to start a business or just create a design for yourself. Feel free to come to the event with questions and ideas.

TinkerCad 3D Modeling software
There is no need to pre-install TinkerCad: it is a free web application that allows you to save and access your designs from anywhere. We recommend that you set up an account prior to the workshop. We also have information on our website if you want to get a jump start.

We help students and NYC entrepreneurs start and run their own businesses through one-on-one business advising, workshops, competitions and events. We are also the main outreach arm for CUNY students through our partnerships with CUNY Startups (formerly the CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship) and the Baruch Small Business Development Center.
