Glasgow Life (www.glasgowlife.org.uk) and City of Poets (www.cityofpoets.com) are running for a series of luncheon workshops to create poems and prose in celebration of Langside Library.
All who attend will have work appear on the protective fencing during the library's two year refurbishment, as well as being credited in the commemorative booklet. Langside Library was established in 1915. It is the last of the Carnegie libraries to be built in the city, and the first library in Glasgow to allow open access, whereby the public could browse shelves directly.
There are 2 x 2 hour FREE working lunch workshops of which you're welcome to come to both or 1.
