Session V: Balance & Capacity Awareness
Are you aware of what your capacity looks like? Feels like? How often are you near capacity? Can we find safety in our body during unsafe times? In this special Make Time. session that's open to everyone, we'll start by opening with these thoughts, then we'll focus on our individual activities (your choice, bring what you need), and to end the session we'll be guided through a group reflection.
About Make Time.
Make Time. is a wellness-facilitator-led gathering designed to help you step out of distraction and into presence. Put your phone in the basket and lock in on something that brings you peace. You’ll have a protected pocket of time to do the things you always say you’ll get around to doing: journaling, reading, sketching, stretching, meditating, discovering new music, knitting, or just chill. Whatever invites calmness.
It’s a simple practice with profound impact: get off the pressure plane, lower your stress, and remember what matters to you. There is no instruction or demand on how to spend your quiet time.
Each session offers a theme that we introduce in the beginning and unpack at the end as a group.
What is the Founding Forty?
The Founding Forty are the first 40 members to experience and commit to Make Time as a habit.
After our sessions you'll receive affirmations, journal prompts, helpful emotional wellness practices, and other ongoing forms of care and support as well.
Being part of the Founding Forty means you’re not just attending an event, you’re helping shape a new community ritual around presence, creativity, and self-care. You're also guaranteeing yourself future access to this container and anything associated with Make Time.
