Make & Take: Ring Turning

Ages 14 to 17 requires a parent or guardian present during the class. Looking for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift? Why not give the “Gift of Experience”? Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! Learn to turn your own custom ring. This is a quick and fun project where we turn a 2 pc. Stainless steel ring with an exotic wood band insert to fit your finger or as a gift. Although previous turning experience is not required, it is highly recommended due to the precise nature of techniques used. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
