Make & Take: Handle

In this handle turning class, students will learn how to create custom wooden handles for tools, kitchen utensils, or other projects using a lathe. The course covers selecting and preparing blanks, mounting them on the lathe, and shaping them with precision for comfort and aesthetics. Participants will also practice sanding, smoothing, and finishing techniques to achieve a polished look. By the end of the class, each student will have one or more handcrafted handles ready for use or assembly.
