Create your own functional digital clock while learning how software and hardware work together in this hands-on workshop!
In this workshop, you will:
- Build a digital clock using a Pi Pico 2 and OLED display (I2C)
- Learn how microcontrollers interact with hardware through programming
- Wire and prototype circuits using a breadboard, jumper wires, and pin headers
- Explore how ultrasonic sensors can add interactive features
- Gain an introduction to embedded systems and physical computing
What to bring:
- A laptop (recommended) for viewing and following along with the programming demonstration
What we provide:
- Pi Pico 2
- OLED display (I2C)
- Breadboards
- Male pin headers
- Jumper wires
- Additional electronic components
No prior experience required
