About this event

One of the best things about making an end grain cutting board is the ability to create cool patterns. In this class you will make a cutting board that appears to be a 3D optical illusion. Crafted with attention to detail and showcasing mesmerizing end grain patterns, this functional masterpiece is both a stunning centerpiece and a durable tool that will preserve knife sharpness and elevate your cooking with its forgiving surface. You may find yourself resisting the urge to gift this board and keep it for yourself! Most professional cooks use end grain cutting boards. You will learn each step to build your very own 3D cutting board to take home. This is a comprehensive 7.5 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. Woodworking 101 & Shop Safety class is a prerequisite before attending this one. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Contact the store for more details at 571-435-8030.

Looking for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift? Why not give the “Gift of Experience”? Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion!
