Step into the whimsical world of Norwegian folklore and sustainable crafting with Lynn Hjelmen! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll bring to life a charming gnome who is feeding an appreciative cardinal. The mateials used are recycled and the end result is charming. Everything you need is provided in the class.

This class is perfect for crafters of all ages looking for a fun, eco-friendly project; those interested in Scandinavian culture and folklore; and anyone who enjoys hands-on, creative activities!

Recycled gnome kits will also be available for purchase directly from the teacher.

The location boasts a rich and diverse residential history. 

Through our programs—which include the Galleri at Norway House, Minnesota Peace Initiative, and the Edvard Grieg Society of Minnesota—you can experience contemporary art, design, and music. Visitors can engage in discussion about important topics that share links to Norway and the global community. 

We serve not only as a center for our programming, but also as a convening space and resource for our business and non-profit partners, locally and globally.
