Make a Northwoods Negroni - learn cocktail basics and gin specifics

Learn to make a Northwoods Negroni! The Negroni is a simple, yet complex cocktail that traditionally combines gin, sweet vermouth, and campari. In this class, we will put a Norwegian spin on the classic by using Boreal Cedar Gin and beautiful Amaro from Vikre Distillery for a perfect fall treat.

Ellen Vaangen of Vikre will teach you how to construct a cocktail, as each participant makes a Northwoods Negroni under her tutelage. You will sample sample Vikre gins so you understand the differences and why the Boreal Cedar Gin is so good in a Negroni.

Nibbles of suggested food pairings will be provided.

You will reeive drink recipe cards and a list of suggested food pairings.

At the end of class, you have the opportunity to order Vikre products for a special discount for class participants. You can pick your orders up at Zipp's Liquors in south Minneapolis.
