Mom, visual artist and educator Allison Lash is guiding. Allison is a former NYC public school art teacher and works with Austin ISD as an approved Fine Arts Service Provider serving children in schools throughout the district and leads community arts. Will the Art House have additional workshops in the future?

Yes!  This is our new studio space and our Menorah Make And Take workshop is part of our soft opening.  We're excited to plan new workshops to share with you soon.

Since at a church, is this a Christian workshop?

Accepted Answer

Not at all!  Awesome Art! is non-denominational and not affiliated with any religion or church.

Question 4

Does the space have parking and an elevator?

Accepted Answer

Yes and yes!  We're on the third floor of a beautiful church- a Romanesque Revival building completed in 1929. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Why are there no refunds?

Awesome Art! is a super small, local arts business run by one woman who does it all (and is trying to avoid burnout).  It's difficult to handle refunds, however, we can talk about rescheduling to a future date.  Thank you for your understanding and supporting small, local arts businesses.
