Are there any age restrictions for this class?

Accepted Answer

This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.

Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing?

Accepted Answer

Safety glasses or face shields, hearing protection, gloves, and dust respirators will be provided free of charge as needed. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves should be rolled up, long hair should be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.

I'm interested in a class that is not scheduled, do you offer custom classes based on my interests?

Accepted Answer

If you are interested in a private class, custom class tailored to your specific needs, or a special group class, please call your local store and speak directly to a Manager. We'll do our very best to meet your requirements while providing a great experience.

Will I make the entire cutting board in one day?

Accepted Answer

Yes and No. Because of the time required for the wood glue to dry, you will cut, glue and assemble an identical cutting board for the next cutting board class and finish the project with a cutting board glued up during the prior cutting board class.
