About this event

Join us for a welcoming night of creativity and connection at this free, all-ages open mic. Bring your music, your poetry, your comedy, your rough drafts, and your masterpieces to the Main Stage in the Alberta Abbey theatre.

Sign-ups and Happy Hour: 5:00–6:00 PM

Performances begin at 6:00 PM

  • Names will be drawn at random "name-in-a-hat" style from the sign-up list.
  • Each performer gets up to 10 minutes or 2 songs.
  • Sound and lights provided.
  • Some backline available.

Free parking is available in the lot across the street until full.

This is a free community event, and donations are welcome to support Alberta Abbey’s mission of amplifying underrepresented voices in the arts.

Are there refreshments available?

The Abbey has a full bar and pizza for purchase.

Is this an accessible venue?

All events in the theater or lounge space are fully accessible. There is reserved handicapped parking located on the Mallory Avenue side of the building and a fully ramped entrance. Please contact info@albertaabbey.org for any accessibility arrangements.

Where should I park?

There is free parking available in the lot located across Alberta Street until full. The Natural Grocer's parking lot is available for attendees to use after 8:00pm.
