Magical Mishaps: A Mixed Media Journaling Workshop
Where every page is a spell gone slightly sideways.

Not all magic is tidy—and neither is journaling. This fun, hands-on workshop is all about exploring creativity through mixed media junk journaling, with a magical twist. Think torn edges, ink smudges, mysterious labels, and pages that look like they belong in an old spellbook.
We’ll use a mix of paper, fabric, stamps, glue, and other materials to build journals full of character and imagination. Whether you’re writing made-up spells, documenting your real life, or just playing with paper, there’s no right or wrong way to do it.
This class is open to everyone—no art skills, journaling experience, or neat handwriting required. Just bring your curiosity, and let your journal become a space for discovery, creativity, and a little magical chaos.
What to Bring:
• A larger journal or notebook that feels special to you (blank, old, or in-progress—anything works!)
• Any personal items you’d like to include: photos, notes, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, receipts, drawings, or other keepsakes
We’ll Provide:
• All the extra supplies you’ll need: paper, glue, scissors, stamps, thread, washi tape, and more
• A table full of fun and unusual materials to play with
• Light drinks and snacks to keep the magic (and energy) flowing
