Join us for a relaxed evening of magic, wonder, and a touch of mischief. Inspired by the French saying “Entre la poire et le fromage”—a time during a meal when people begin to loosen up and share more freely—this show is designed to be just that: enjoyable, satisfying, and a little unexpected.

Award-winning magician Kenshin Amagi invites you to sit back, get comfortable, and experience an evening where everyday rules take a break. Through illusions, stories, and moments that blur the line between the real and the impossible, this show creates space for surprise without the need to lean forward in your seat.

KENSHIN AMAGI was born in Kumamoto, Japan, and grew up in Los Angeles. When Kenshin was in high school, he was invited to audition for an exclusive position at the world-renowned Magic Castle in their Junior Society. He won the spot and matriculated to full Performing-Member status on his 21st birthday.

He is currently a regular performer at the Magic Castle. At just 18 years of age he won the Midwest Magic Jubilee close-up competition and continued his string of magic competition success placing at the Japan National Championship of Magic in 2021. This led to a featured position on national American TV with Penn & Teller FOOL US Season 9 where Penn Jillette proclaimed, “This is our favorite type of act!” Kenshin was selected by world champion Shoot Ogawa as a first assistant and often opens for Ogawa.
