Overview

Wadankeygii Udgoonaa, Dhaqankeygii Wacnaa. "My home, remembered in scent. My Culture, enveloped in beauty"

Join us as we pay homage to the oral traditions, communal gatherings, and cultural practices that have shaped Somali identity for generations. Inspired by shaah corners, buraanbur circles, and other forms of storytelling, this one-night experience reimagines the spaces where our culture has always thrived. Through art, sound, and interactive installations, the exhibition invites you to learn, reflect, and reconnect with the essence of dhaqan (culture) in a modern, creative setting. Bringing community, memory, and culture back into one shared space.
