About this event

COME ONE COME ALL!

On May 31, 2023 at 11:30am, TAP is showcasing participants’ work to the wider community at the iconic SVA theatre in Manhattan. With a focus on amplifying representation in the industry, this event aims to celebrate, showcase, and connect TAP participants to the larger creative community. This event makes space for participants to hear from critical voices in the animation and related fields, and see work coming from the stories and identities in the community.

Industry professionals who represent the diverse identities of our participants and audience are invited to share their journeys, providing insights on their experience while working in the animation industry and related creative fields.

The event will also include speakers from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, The New York City Department of Probation, TAP’s Industry Council and program graduates. A showcase of work created in our training programs, community-based and school groups will be featured as well.

* Please make sure you have selected the correct ticket type (General Admission / Past or Current Participant)

* TAP Participants MUST completely fill out all registration questions in order to be incentivized. Please be sure your correct FULL name and FULL mailing address are provided.
