Macrame wall hanging workshop

Come join us for a beginner's macrame tapestry workshop at Shaggies, where Hannah will teach you the basic macrame knots and you will create your very own tapestry which you can proudly say that you make with your own hands. Afterwards you can use your skills to create more tapestries or other macrame projects such as plant hangers or purses. It’s all possible once you know the basic knots!

What you'll get

All materials are included in this workshop, including both natural and dyed cotton rope as well as a wooden dowel. An instructional knot manual, including video links, will be provided during the workshop for all participants. Tea and snacks will be provided.

About Hannah

Hannah is an American fiber artist based in Amsterdam and the owner of Shaggies Rugs, a tufting studio in Amsterdam East. She hosts creative workshops on a regular basis including tufting, crochet, mosaic, punch needle, embroidery, macrame and weaving.
