Macclesfield Maternity Parent Education Classes

Macclesfield Maternity are offering Parent Education Classes to women booked to deliver at Macclesfield.

These classes are designed to be delivered between 32-36 weeks of gestation.

They are made up of 2 x 2hr sessions. The first session covers 1st and 2nd stage of Labour and the immediate postpartum period, including Interventions and Emergencies. The second session covers the postnatal period and what to expect once you are home.

These sessions are delivered by one of our Midwives at Macclesfield and also include a tour of the maternity unit.

One ticket guarantees a place for 2 people.

Please note, if you are booked for an elective ceasarean section then these classes can still be attended as the second session is still useful.
