About this Event

We are inviting local entrepreneurs and thought leaders to broaden our knowledge on an array of topics through lunch programs rich with conversation and networking. This time, our speaker is Yimeng “Jack” He, an Analytical Chemist for the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). Jack conducts premier level testing for industry, researchers and other stakeholders. Of particular interest is his work with hemp, an emerging market with vast opportunities and potential growth.

Learn:

Prohibition of industrial hemp officially ended on December 20, 2018, with the signing of the Farm Bill Act of 2018. Learn what happens in the lab to test the marketability and safety of hemp in today’s world. Jack will explain the types and advantages of testing equipment, the different testing services available and the process followed.
