Overview
Wednesdays 11AM- 12PM: Collaborative Style Learning; Holiday edition. Come and collaborate with Professionals for monthly insight and learning on various topics related to psychotherapy. You will be invited to consider your own caseload in the context of monthly topics. Participation is encouraged!
Have you used gratitude journals with clients or on your own in the past? What was the outcome? How do clients respond when discussing gratitude? We will discuss how to have a conversation with clients who may use therapy sessions (or your voicemail/ email), as their journal. What boundaries/ limits do we set for this to work and how do we stay intentional?
Objectives
- Gain insight on psychotherapy clients and client presentation as it relates to monthly topic.
- Build relationships with other professionals by sharing experiences and insight
- Gain skills and new approaches based on monthly topic.
Presenter
Angie Kuffel is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Wisconsin and the Intern and Clinical Supervisor for Professional Services Group, Inc. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counseling Education from the University of Colorado- Denver. As a previous teacher, Angie has since sought out opportunities to find effective, creative ways to continue to support children and adolescents (and their caregivers and teachers) through School Based Individual Therapy.
Professional Services Group has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7066. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Professional Services Group is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
