In the hallowed halls of residential agriculture, raised beds are considered the crème de la crème, top dawg, the peak of the mountain. But are they all that they are cracked up to be? Join our Farm Manager, AJ, for this one-hour Lunch & Learn presentation on Raised Beds and find out!
In this class, AJ will explain the benefits and challenges of gardening in raised beds, explore the types and styles of raised bed gardens, discuss the pros and cons of different bed structure and fill materials, and share his building processes and tips.
For participants planning to order food to eat during the presentation, please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes ahead to place your order at the coffeeshop counter. Your lunch will then be brought to you in the Learning Center to enjoy while you learn!
Registration is appreciated but not required for this free event.
