In this session, teachers can learn about math coaching and how it can impact their instruction and, ultimately, student learning. We will discuss the basic framework of a coaching cycle, flexible options, and possible ideas for a coaching focus (For example, how to improve student fluency, how to adapt instruction to include more concrete experiences, how to differentiate math activities, how to increase math discourse among students...)
