This presentation is facilitated by Telisha Woodfin, LMSW, CD, CEIM from LIVLoved Postpartum Support. Telisha Woodfin, LMSW, CD, CEIM, is the Founder and Owner of LIVLoved Family Support, offering postpartum doula services, coaching, and infant massage education for families with children from birth to age 5. A Richmond, Virginia native and double alumna of Virginia Commonwealth University, she holds a B.S. in Psychology and a Master of Social Work.Telisha’s holistic approach centers on fostering strong family bonds. She is certified as a Growing Brain Curriculum trainer (ZERO TO THREE), Infant Massage Educator, and Postpartum Doula. With specialized training in Trauma-Informed Care, Practice-Based Coaching, and Perinatal Mental Health, she brings over 20 years of experience in early intervention, mental health, and developmental disabilities.
Her diverse professional background and lived experience enrich her doula practice, allowing her to support each family’s unique parenting journey. LIVLoved is her passion and commitment to families seeking to be seen, heard, and supported. Drawing on evidence-based insights into the neurobiological and psychological effects of touch, the presentation also highlights the vital role of caregiver self-care in supporting emotional availability. Participants will learn practical strategies to help new parents integrate bonding and self-care practices into their postpartum journey. This session aims to deepen the understanding of how therapeutic guidance and supportive interventions can enhance attachment, promote emotional resilience, and contribute to the mental well-being of both parents and infants.
