Unwind and explore your creativity in a relaxing Zentangle session taught by Certified Zentangle Instructor Jennifer Barber. This meditative drawing technique transforms simple patterns into stunning designs, helping you focus, relax, and tap into your artistic side.

As part of this Lunch & Learn experience at 1440, you’ll also enjoy dining on a delicious, sustainable, and locally sourced lunch at Kitchen Table. Featuring global cuisine prepared by our 1440 Culinary Team, this deeply nourishing meal provides the perfect complement to your creative practice.

This unique event is a fulfilling opportunity to create, connect, and embrace hope for living well. Whether you’re new to Zentangle or an experienced doodler, join us for an enriching day of art, mindfulness, and community.

Lunch & Learn Schedule:

  • 10:00 a.m.: Arrival & Registration
  • 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Zentangle with Certified Zentangle Instructor Jennifer Barber
  • 12:00-1:30 p.m.: Lunch at Kitchen Table; sustainable, locally sourced and mindfully prepared
  • 1:30 p.m.: Event Conclusion & Departures

Price: $65 per person, includes workshop materials and lunch at Kitchen Table

Lunch Menu:

  • Due to the seasonality of the sustainable ingredients we source from local farms, the Kitchen Table lunch menu will be available and posted approximately one week prior to the event date. A plant-based option is always available.

Event Notes:

  • Guests may check into campus up to 30 minutes before the class start to enjoy our Lodge Retail Shop, Bridge of Intentions and Common Grounds Patio. Please note that other areas of campus—including trails not part of the guided hike and the jacuzzi tub—are unavailable to Community Education Class guests due to other scheduled programming.
  • This is an indoor event, held in one of our ventilated classroom gathering spaces.
  • 1440 will provide everything required for this class.
  • Reusable water bottles are welcome -- filtered water stations are available throughout campus.
  • Kitchen Table offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, including outdoor covered seating options..
  • This is an 18-and-over event.

Cancellation Policy: Participants may request a refund up to 7 days before the event. After this period, all sales are final. All proceeds from Community Learning Events support our 1440 philanthropic and volunteer efforts.
