This presentation will be facilitated by Clarice Lazary, LMSW. Clarice has been a social worker working in the field of Children and Family services for over 40 years. She has been working in the field of Adoption for 7 years as a counselor and outreach worker at Friends in Adoption along with providing private practice services to families seeking private adoptions. She loves sharing the stories of the love and power of adoption.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of up to date and accurate adoption language
  • Describe the professional’s role regarding the ethical considerations in the decision-making process of adoption planning
  • Identify the differences between private agency adoption and Child Protective involvement
