Lunch and Learn Series: Work Improvement Strategies
Overview
This one-hour workshop on improving work performance requires approaching work through the lens of physical well-being, social well-being, environmental security, and of being skilled. Poor posture, poor nutritional habits, and poor health lead to sickness and difficulties in successfully executing work tasks.
The workshop emphasizes frequently stepping away from the desk to achieve clarity and to re-orient oneself when working on challenging assignments.
We will discuss how to improve work performance by measuring and modifying business processes to increase output, efficiency, and effectiveness.
By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
* Analyze some work improvement strategies that will assist them in their daily work assignments.
* Discuss the definition of Work-Strategies
* Explain Why Work-Life Balance is Important
* Review Six Components of Work-Life Balance
* Analyze Areas of Improv
