Designing for Security in Education and Healthcare Today

Event Description:

Join us for a focused Lunch & Learn session created for architects and engineers, where we’ll explore how advanced technology is enhancing safety and communication in both the Healthcare and Education settings. State-of-the-art Public Address and Nurse Call systems today can support emergency response, daily scheduling, and routine communication—and can integrate with secure door access systems to create a connected, responsive safety infrastructure. This session will help all designers and builders to understand options available today at the planning and design stage that will be particularly attractive to education and healthcare professionals aspiring to create the highest level of security and efficiency.

This session will highlight how these solutions align with two essential pillars of school and healthcare facility design: Health, by fostering a secure and focused learning environment, and Safety, by protecting building occupants through smart, reliable systems that support best practices in modern educational and healthcare facilities. The presentation will be appropriate for those involved in Project Planning and Design.
