About this event
Author Bridget Quinn discusses women in art history and her recent book Broad Strokes: 15 Women Who Made Art and Made History (in That Order). This eye-opening talk is for everyone interested in female artists, even if you haven't read the book.
Broad Strokes was an Amazon pick for Best Art & Photography Books 2017 and a 2018 Amelia Bloomer List selection of recommended feminist literature from the American Library Association. Quinn's most recent book is She Votes: How U.S. Women Won Suffrage and What Happened Next, a movement history that includes illustrations by one hundred women artists.
