About this event

We are excited to open up one of our Diversability Leadership Collective (our members-only space to advance disability leadership, advocacy, and influence) events to the public. We offer DLC exclusive events and perks like this on a weekly basis!

Join us for an empowering workshop designed for survivors of trauma, individuals with previous diverse disabilities, and those exploring gender identity. "Loving Yourself Beyond the Trauma" provides a safe and supportive space for participants to process their experiences, enhance emotional wellness, and cultivate resilience.

Whether you’re seeking personal growth, connection, or a deeper understanding of your experiences, this workshop will equip you with the skills and confidence to thrive. Don’t miss this opportunity to embark on a journey toward emotional well-being and empowerment!

Rev. Dr. Xenia Barnes is a Brooklyn-based social and behavioral scientist, ordained minister, and disability justice advocate. Her Trauma-to-Triumph Framework helps organizations cultivate leadership, employee wellbeing, and equitable community engagement. Over 20 years, Xenia has partnered with survivors of domestic abuse, gun violence, and chronic illness to translate lived experience into systemic change. She blends storytelling, research, and spiritual care to equip audiences with practical tools for resilience, self-advocacy, and collective liberation.
