Thank you for registering! Here is a recap: OVERVIEW In celebration of Black History Month, Ladies of Virtue is gearing up for our inaugural LOV DAY! Girls will Pick Up a LOV Box (must be present)! This event will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Each LOV Box will include: Teddy bear, Candy, Black History Facts/info, Manicure Set, and more! Would you like to volunteer on LOV DAY? There are 3 opportunities. 1. Help Pack Boxes from 12noon to 2pm on Feb 14, 2021 Volunteers will be needed to pack boxes from noon to 2 pm in South Shore. South Shore - Imani Community Development Corporation - 2314 E. 83rd St., Chicago, IL 60617. 2. Help Distribute LOV Boxes to Youth from 3pm to 5pm on Feb 14, 2021 We will also need volunteers to distribute boxes from 3 pm to 5 pm in the following communities: Bronzeville, South Shore, West side. South Shore - Imani Community Development Corporation - 2314 E. 83rd St., Chicago, IL 60617. Bronzeville - Uncle Remus Saucy Fried Chicken - 737 E 47th St, Chicago, IL 60615 West side - Location is TBD 3. Donate items If you would like to donate items for the LOV BOX drop them off (Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to 3pm) or mail them to: South Shore - Imani Community Development Corporation - 2314 E. 83rd St., Chicago, IL 60617. We are looking for the following items: Self-love journals for girls/teens, fuzzy socks, nail polish, lip gloss, snacks. 4. Write a positive affirmation. We will include your message in a handwritten note in each LOV Box! A member of our staff will email you by Feb 10th to confirm details.
