The Aipassi Annaabhishekam is celebrated at Kailasa Hindu temple during the month of Aippasi (Nov 04th 2025). Significance of Aipassi Annaabhishekam: Offering of Abundance and Gratitude to Shiva:Annam is considered as a symbolic expression of gratitude for the abundance in Sanatana Hindu Dharma. Rice, which is the staple food, forms the sustenance, so offering cooked rice in large quantities signifies respect and thankfulness to Lord Shiva, the preserver of all life.
The ritual celebrates Shiva’s role as the supreme provider and sustainer of the universe. By giving the products of our efforts, we learn the significance of celebrating from the space of Tyaga. Pleased with our Tyaga, Paramshiva will shower all the beings with continued prosperity and blessings.
Join us to enjoy the grand celebrations!!
