Projects best suited for the mini-loom: small holes in shirts, socks, pants, hats. Size of hole can range from micro to 1” in diameter. We’ll be using a small loom in the workshop once you learn the mini-loom, the technique can be applied with learner looms and therefore larger holes.
What to bring: Any item with a 1” hole or smaller, in any woven, jersey, or knit fabric. Practice material will be provided.

- Basics of darning and how to loom is used to ease this typically manual process
- How to set up the loom
- Practice basic weaving techniques
- Practice and troubleshooting
- Apply weaving to your project with individual consultation
What you’ll leave with:
Mended items and mini-loom and a new found confidence to mend or adorn items you come across in your closet, thrifting or otherwise.
Don’t forget! You don’t need a hole to adorn with loom darning. Bring in any item that needs pizzaz.
