The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to climb aboard the newly renovated eco-buggy with Environmental Specialist Tommy Nordmann for a tour of Longleaf Pine Preserve. Participants will pass through a variety of native habitats including pine flatwoods and cypress strands. We’ll identify the plants and animals we see along the way.
** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: The tour will take place on a hay-ride style, covered trailer with benches. There will be some easy, short walks as well.
RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.
TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.
AGES: All ages are welcome.
ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes that can get muddy and wet and comfortable clothing for the outdoors
WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray
FACILITIES: There is a port-a-let but no running water on site.
