Local Matters: East Hampton

The "Local Matters" series, a special five-part set of Express Sessions events, will continue on December 11 with a luncheon panel discussion in East Hampton. The conversation will focus on issues of direct consequence to East Hampton Village, East Hampton Town and its environs, and the panel will include both town and village leaders. Topics will be chosen by the community and likely will include recent legislation limiting house sizes, the ongoing battle to create more affordable housing, beach erosion and the future of the proposed senior/community center, and other issues.

As with every Express Sessions event, those in attendance will have a chance to ask questions and offer comments on the subjects at hand. The event — held at Rowdy Hall in Amagansett — will be recorded, and video will be shared at 27east.com.
