Join us for a Community Conversation on Food Security – one of the most pressing issues facing Monterey County today. The Food Bank for Monterey County reports feeding 1 in 3 children and 1 in 4 residents in our community.

With rising food costs, projected cuts to support programs, and ongoing challenges in harvesting and delivering food, many of us are asking: what lies ahead?

This conversation isn’t about doom and gloom, it’s about understanding the issue together and discovering how shared solutions can strengthen our community’s resiliency in times of change.Be part of the dialogue. Bring your perspective. Help shape solutions.

Guest speakers include:

  • Niaomi Hrepich - Cal Fresh Monterey County
  • Hester Parker - Everyone's Harvest
  • Christine Winge - Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula
