Plan to arrive by 10:00 am and head to Room 510 in the Paul D. Coverdell Legislative Office Building (located behind the Capitol) (18 Capitol Sq SW, Atlanta, GA 30334). We will have a soft place to land and provide information for you to gather to give to legislators. From there we will head over to the Capitol building together. You can also pick up a t-shirt if you purchased one or buy one for $20 cash, subject to availability the day of.

You can make an appointment to speak with your legislator that afternoon, ahead of time, or plan to pop in on them as they are working. Let us know if you need help! At 10:30 am we will head across the street to the Capitol, where we can call Legislators out of chamber to speak with us individually.

At 12:00 pm we will meet on the rotunda stairs for a group photo, followed by opportunities for more engagement or your journey home, whichever you have time for.

Don't forget your photo ID! You cannot enter the Capitol without it!

This event is open to midwives and families that want to share their story of being served by a midwife in community birth. Well behaved children and infants are welcome.
