Beginner Class, Week 2
Manhattan Midge. The Manhattan Midge is a popular fly pattern, a hybrid of several existing midge patterns, designed to attract trout in tailwater situations. It's known for its effectiveness, especially when targeting emerging midges. The fly features a slim profile, segmented body, flashy wing, a peacock collar, and a silver-lined bead to simulate trapped air bubbles in the thorax.
