Come learn about Living Docks in the Indian River Lagoon from Dante Romero. Aid in habitat restoration by making oyster mats. Dante is a graduate student at Florida Tech, working on the Living Docks project. His master's research focuses on mobile animals (e.g., fish, crabs, and shrimp) that utilize the Living Docks as a habitat, with the intention of evaluating their impact on the ecosystem of the Indian River Lagoon in densely populated areas. His inspiration stems from the success of habitat restoration and the ability to effect positive change.
