NightCamp is Huntsville's own campy comedy variety show, featuring the talents of performers from across the South who are a little bit, well... Odd, Weird, and Queer.

Not-so-coincidentally, we've partnered with artist Aaron Kilgore (of The Ecletic Frog) to appear in their new gallery show, "The Odd, The Weird, The Queer."

This isn’t just an art show. It’s a space for connection, memory, celebration, and survival. It’s about reclaiming the words that once hurt…"odd, weird, queer"…and turning them into something powerful.

On August 31 at 7pm, get drawn into the exhibit with laughter, music, and celebration together with local artists, comedians, and performers! Join us for a night of FUN -- and that's putting it LIGHTLY!

Improv counselor Taylor Bush with comics SiFi, Sierra Moses, and Tom Hand mid-game at our 2024 Valentine's Day show Love Glove at Shenanigans Comedy Theater in 2024. With our top-tier casts working with your audience suggestions, you never know what hilarity will ensue once NightCampers take the stage!

Drag artist Majesty Divine on stage at Prides of March, Spring 2025 at Startlingly Fresh Studios. For this show, NightCamp had the honor of partnering with Unveiling Majesty, an upcoming documentary about this legendary local queen and advocate: thanks to y'all, the film is officially fully funded! Learn more and follow production updates at unveilingmajestyfilm.com. Thank you to Madge, director Megan Plotka, and the UM team for joining us!

Comedians Ashlynn Lutz and Jaylen Brown with improv counselor Jason Sims at our Crystal Lake show, Friday the 13th of October back in 2023. This upcoming show at Lowe Mill marks 3 whole years of NightCamp's odd, weird, and especially queer variety shows here in North Alabama: whether you're a veteran attendee or a first-time camper, we look forward to enjoying a night of cathartic comicality together!
