We’re inviting Filipino youth to take part in a live script reading and screening of The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia (CBC) on Sunday, Oct 5 at VS. Creative Lab.

The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia follows Jenny (played by Ava Louise Murchison), a 13-year-old Filipina hip-hop dancer whose world turns upside down after a cancer diagnosis—but with the love of her family + friends, she dares to dream big and live large.

Cast members Josette Jorge (“Marisol”) and Haven Markus (“Marc Garcia”) will be joining us for the event and participants will bring the story to life through a live table read of Episode 1, then watch two more episodes unfold on screen.

For Filipino youth with an interest in film or television, this is a rare opportunity to join in—secure a spot today!
