Welcome to: For the First Gens and the In-Betweens.
Last month, Hella Latin@ Podcast turned 5 years old — five years of uplifting our Kids of Immigrants/Immigrant stories and voices. We're using this moment as a celebration, but it wouldn't be a celebration without an intimate, live conversation where we explore the stories we carry, the cultures we straddle, and what it really means to navigate the in-between.
In places like LA and beyond, we’ve seen how our immigrant and refugee communities continue to be systematically attacked and now, more openly than ever. This is an opportunity for us to stand and fight together, for them/us.
But what does real solidarity look like across our communities? Not the hashtag kind. The kind rooted in truth, action, and deep listening. Let’s unpack that together.
